I just today came across this news.
As someone who grew up on Hanssler and was a childhood friend of Marc, I had nothing but fond memories of the Culp household where I always felt welcomed. I knew the both Joanne and Carmen for many years. Truly quality people. I made sure not to wear out my welcome when invited. B. Gage

Babe & Joanne were wonderful neighbors where I grew up on Hanssler Street in Peoria. They were like a 2nd set of parents for us. We had many memorable fun times together, and I enjoyed seeing Babe the last several years when I visited from VA. I will hold him in a special place in my heart. We met Joanne and Babe when we moved to the neighborhood in 1977. We enjoyed visiting with them and in the later years visiting with Babe. Joanne's presence has been missed and now Babe's presence will also be missed.
