Carol Bonnette Obituary

Carol Ann Bonnette passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the age of 75. She was born in Moreauville, LA on October 4, 1946 to Ray Sr. and Ella LaCour. Our mother, Carol was one of the strongest and most kind women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. She loved word search puzzles, coloring, cooking and was a huge Saints fan. Carol was predeceased by her parents Ray Sr. and Ella LaCour; brothers, Ray Jr. and Brent LaCour; and her beloved husband Felix "Fly-Rod" Bonnette Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Perez (Arthur) and Christine Dugas (Duane), her 4 grandchildren Kevin & Michael Perez, Justin & Rebekah Dugas; 1 great grandson Connor Perez; her siblings, Craig LaCour, Patricia Jurado, Eleanora Fleetwood, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was well loved and will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her love, kindness, laughter and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, February 23rd from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service in Carol's memory beginning at 1:00PM.
