Carol Herfarth Potin

Carol Herfarth Potin passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wanner Liebert Potin and son, Wayne Wanner Potin. She is survived by her two daughters, Janelle Lundy (spouse, Andy Lundy) and Suzette Neuenhaus (spouse, Brock Neuenhaus). She was grandmother to 7 grandchildren, Mark Lundy, Brian Lundy, Hans Neuenhaus, Karl Neuenhaus, Kevin Lundy, Matthew Lundy and Gretchen Neuenhaus. She is survived by one great-granddaughter, Calla Paige Lundy. She was a native New Orleanian and spent many years volunteering at the Pitot House, the Cabildo, and various other organizations. She was a faithful member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ and a founding member of the Lakeside Homemakers Club, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Good Shepard United Church of Christ, 5122 West Esplanade Ave., Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd UCC.
