Cassie Evans, on Sunday, May 25, 2003. Daughter of the late Joshua Evans and Olivia Butler Evans. Sister of Olivia Evans Boyd and the late Joshua J. Evans, and her twin brother Charles Evans. Aunt of Mack A. Boyd, (Joycelyn), Walter R. Boyd, Sr. (Evangeline), Sgt. Keith E. Boyd (Kimberly), Sheila Boyd Lea and Lisa Boyd Sholeye, also survived by 13 grand nieces and nephews and 17 great-grand-nieces and nephews and a host of other friends. Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officiers and Members of New Genesis Bible Church, New Light Baptist Church, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service held on Thursday, May 29, 2003 at 10:00 am at New Genesis Bible Church, 3701 Franklin Ave. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Charles Garrison, officiating. Interment: Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements by: D. W. RHODES FUNERAL HOME, 1716 N. CLAIBORNE AVE.

On behalf of my mother Mrs.Beulah Singleton I wish to convey our sincere condolences to Miss Cassie's Family.



Miss Cassie was a wonderful friend and neighbor to all of us , especially to my mother. We only learned of her death today, June 10, 2003. She will be missed.
