ENGLES Catherine Luke Engles The rain this Ash Wednesday were tears from heaven as a glorious, long awaited reunion was happening above us. God called another angel home. Catherine Luke Engles(MeMe) took her walk with the Lord reuniting with her beloved sweetheart Cecil B. Engles; daughters Connie Engles and baby Engles; parents, Josephine and Angelo Luke; her brothers and sisters along with many other family and friends in time for Valentine's Day. Catherine Luke Engles was blessed with a wonderfully loving husband, Cecil B. Engles, and two beautiful daughters, Connie Engles and Enith Menendez. She was cherished and MeMe to close family, Jim Gasquet; her sister, Angeline Coleman; grandaughters, Andrea Alexander and Marissa Menendez-Hammett(Daniel Hammett); great grandchildren, Brittany Alexander, Tristan Hammett, Zachary Alexander, Abigail Alexander, and Ashton Hammett; as well as her entire Sam's Family and many other friends. In Catherines words about a service, "I don't want all that malarkey"; so, private services were held at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME.
