Hey Grandma! I still miss you as much as the day you passed. Grandpa is doing great! I honestly thought he would pass right after to follow you into heaven. But it has been 16 years and while I know he misses you dearly, he is definitely doing his best to happily live out the rest of his years, until you will both meet again. I tell my daughter about you all the time. I know you would have LOVED to meet her and let her sit on "the girls lap"!
I hope you are watching down on us and are proud of all we have done. As Bobby would say, "Miss and Love!"

Dear Family, as a distant cousin, I want to express my deepest sympathy to Bob and all the family of Catherine Ann. The last time I saw her was in the chapel at Our Lady of Wisdom nursing home where I was visiting my mother, Agnes Ray. Catherine Ann had a wonderful contageous smile. God Bless!

I will miss you too much for words, Grams. Every time I look at that picture of you in your nurse's uniform and I see those sparkling Irish blue eyes, my insides start to clench. I just feel so sorry for Grandpa having to carry on without you. I know he can do it, and we'll all try to visit him as much as we can, but I just can't imagine losing someone I've known for that long. I keep telling my mom that when she gets sad, Peter, Squeaky (our pet guinea pig, that you unfortunately never got to meet), and I are all there for her. I can still hear you shuffling up and down the halls in your slippers, and I try to remember all the good times we had together, so it won't seem so much like you're with God now. I'm not too religious, but good luck in Heaven with God, and I'll meet you there someday, I hope (just kidding!)!

Grandma has a beautiful spirit, with a wonderful sense of humor and smile. I will always remember her as her genes will live through me and my family. I pray that she is the happiest in heaven.

Dear Sicard Family -
I am so very sorry to hear about your loss.
Ms. Sicard was a wonderful person that will be greatly missed. I can honestly say that many peoples lives were better for having known her and that is rare in this world. We have lost a gift.

Grandma, I'm gonna miss you soooo much. I keep thinking of all the great times we spent together, trips to the Riverwalk, going on the Cotton Blossom steamboat, going to Mardi Gras across from Gallier Hall, Leigh and I spending summers at your house and when we'd have a little tiff, you'd start singing "Let there be peace on Earth..." When you took us to go see Annie the musical and I lost the charm that was in the necklaces you got us...I've been watching the movie "Annie" ever since you passed, to get me through the tough times. There's so much I have to say, but I wouldn't have enough room to type it all on here. I know you and my other grandma are looking down on me as guardian angels. I bet ya'll are happy to see each other again :) I'm really sad that you won't be there for my wedding in September, but I know you'll be there in spirit. I'll be sure to dance with Grandpa to "Misty" as planned :) I think about you everyday...and I'll never forget all the good times we had. I love you!
Love, your first grandchild, Kelly :)
