Celeste Ockman Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN Celeste Ockman Zimmerman passed away on April 13, 2010 at the age of 98 years. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and lived in Marrero, LA for the past 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Dewey J. Zimmerman. Mother of Donald J. Zimmerman, Sr. (and his wife Jeanette). Grandmother of Donald J. "Don" Zimmerman, Jr., Joylyn A. Zimmerman and "Noonie" to Danny Esteves and Fatima Hasbun. Daughter of the late Eva Remondet Ockman and Marcel Ockman, Sr. Sister of Delphine Boudry, Florence Esteve, Antoinette Barrett, Lester, Sandy, Henry, Antoine and Marcel Ockman, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of River Region Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, L.L.C., 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 8 AM until 11 AM.
