Charles Arbour Obituary

Charles Edward Arbour Jr. "Stickman" passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the age of 53 at Slidell Memorial Hospital. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in some way throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Seal Arbour and his step-sister, Peggy Burkhalter (Jim). He is survived by his father, Charles Edward Arbour Sr.; his step-mother, Velton Arbour; his siblings, Connie Seagrave (Steven), Karen Bracy (Jon) and Nancy Arbour; his step-siblings, Sonya Pupulis, Trent Watts (Helen) and Ghia Borel (James); his beloved wife, Melissa Campo Arbour; his children, Brandi Wuertz (Ricky), Emily Nata (Frank), Justin Arbour (Domonique), Charles Arbour III (Cabrina Varnado); and his grandchildren Chasity Wuertz, Ricky Wuertz III, Cayden Nata, Allison Nata, Parker Pitre and Steven Varnado. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Charles was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish where he enjoyed a 26-year career with Domino Sugar. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life through fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends and family. Charles was well loved and will forever be remembered for his loyalty and devotion to his friends and family, his laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. Relatives, friends and employees of Domino Sugar are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at Katz Lounge, 3004 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA 70043 on Saturday, July 8th from 1:00PM – 5:00PM. His burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Charles "Stickman" Arbour Jr. at the memorial event, to help with burial expenses. Your family has our deepest sympathy and condolences. Charles was a wonderful person and friend. He was always there to help, no matter what it was with. He always talked about his loving family.
