Mr Charlie was the best and closest friend of my grandfather Ray Newton for 80 years until Mr Newton passed away in May. I knew Mr Charlie my whole life. It was an honor and privelege. Love you, Mr Charlie. See you on the other side.

Charlie was one of the kindest and most wonderful people I have ever known. He touched so many lives. Even though he is no longer with us on this earth, the work he did to help others will be reflected in many years to come. Rest in peace, Charlie B. Mr. Charlie has been my neighbor since I was five years old and he was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I know how sad he has been but he is now united with Rose and Chuck and will be happy again. He will be very missed.

I was fortunate to call Charlie my friend, sponsor and mentor for 32 years. I first met Charlie at the age of 15. He stood by, supported and guided me...making it possible for me to have peace in my own life. I will be forever grateful to you Charlie. My family and I will keep you and your family in our prayers. Charlie lived across the street from me. I always looked forward to him being outside when I'd come home from work, He just told me he loved my Christmas lights that we put up.. Such a sweet man.

Mentor, Sponsor, friend before and during fellowship. I have not met any other person do plain and simple, humble, and caring than Charlie. He instilled Patience, Tolerance and Understanding in all if us as a standard. When he came his cup was empty when he left we all had filled was his words among many. I have had five of the best mentors ever, Lyle, Kojac, Gerry L , Frank W (Houma) and Charlie. All are if ultimate service in paradise. I am Blessed yet crushed. But left with a spiritual understanding that will be embedded in me and others forever. God Bless You, and Rest in Supreme Peace my friend and eternal support.

It is impossible to express how wonderful both me and my family thought Mr. Charlie was. I know that he is now with his beloved Rose and Chuck and I know how dearly he missed them. But the world just will not be the same without him here. To Mindy and the rest of your family, please know that we all are so sorry for your loss and we will pray for peace for you in the time to come. He was and will always be remembered as one of the most beautiful people on earth. Please know that we will try to honor him and his memory by trying to be more like him each and every day.
