I met Charlie and Bernie thru Jerry. I didn't see you folks too often but I remember Charlie well. He was kind, funny, and considerate to me and my family.

Sorry for your loss Greg. I never met your father but he had to have been a great man to raise a son like you. My sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with you, your Mom and family at this time of your loss.

Most of you won't remember me. I grew up with Charles, one of his older first cousins. His "Auntie Anna" (Falcon) was my mother. I have wonderful memories of playing with Charles and Barry and Kerry at Mama and Papa's house in Marrero. I loved being with all of them, including Aunt Betty and Uncle Percy. I have tears in my eyes now, remembering what a wonderful cousin Charles was.

Bernie, we have a heavy heart and tears in our eyes, but we know Charlie is no longer suffering, and is now at God's side. We take great comfort in all of the very fond memories we have shared the past 30 years. I will miss my Saints and LSU phone calls with Charlie, as he loved to frequently call me to analyze, criticize, or rejoice over those beloved Saints and Tigers!
Please accept our deepest condolences as you, Charlie, and Gregory are always in our thoughts and prayers. We know you too will lean on all of you wonderful memories of Charlie, and please, please, please let us know if there is anything we can do to comfort you.
