Charles Fleming

Mr. Charles John Fleming entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the age of 79. Beloved son of the late Herbert Fleming, Sr. and Nellie Felix Fleming. Brother of Delores Woods and the late Herbert Fleming, Jr. In addition to his parents and brother, Mr. Fleming was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Dequair-Fleming. He leaves to cherish his legacy, three daughters, Roycelyn (James), Kristi and Dana; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. All are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Mr. Charles John Fleming will be held at Greater Old Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 655 N. Rocheblave Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10 am. Visitation 9 am in the church. Traditional jazz procession to follow.
