Michelle, no words are adequate at this time. May God grant you guidance and courage for the days ahead. I am in much prayer for the Girod and Williams families. Losing dad and husband a month apart has got to be one of the most difficult challenges in life you will ever face. But know this, God gives amazing people amazing strength in times when they need it most.

Michelle, I'm the female Nopd officer that works the detail at Entergy and walks with you some evenings. It was very upsetting to learn that you lost your husband, and if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask. I had no idea we were neighbors, but we would always pass and see your husband outside doing something in his yard or messing with his old school car. I will miss seeing him around the neighborhood. Michelle, words cannot express the sorrow I'm feeling for you and your family. Charles will be sadly missed. Even after we moved Charles would see us on the street,stop and have long conversions with Gerry. He actually would stop where we were living just to chat. He would always start off his conversation with "I sure miss ya'll". Charles always had a great smile. We love your family, and your in our thoughts and prayers.Love and miss you sweet neighbor.

No one knows the day nor the hour....I recently had the opportunity to see Charles after over twenty years, and it was just as if he was sitting in my classroom all over again..cutting up of course. It was very refreshing to meet his beautiful family and learn of his accomplishments. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to see him again. To the family I say, be encouraged and know that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal.
