Cheryl S. Pete

PETE Cheryl S. Pete, entered into eternal peace to rest with our heavenly Father on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 8:55 pm at the age of 64; Cheryl graduated from McDonogh #35 Senior High School in 1966 and attended Southern University at New Orleans; She was employed at Southern University at New Orleans and at USDA in Michoud; She was preceded in death by her sister; Carolyn R. Pete and her mother, Rebecca M. Simpson Pete; She leaves to cherish her special memories; her father, Preston Pete; 5 brothers, Henry and Preston A. Pete, both of Houston, TX, Bennie, Keith and Author Pete, all of New Orleans, LA; 4 sisters, Danielle J. El-Mansura, Irma E. Pete, Marlene Z. Pete and Gertie Pete, all of New Orleans, LA; Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Her motherly love, leadership and focus on education for all - will forever be remembered.
