It is through God's grace that I was blessed and fortunate to have Coach Manego as an instructor doing my attendance at SUNO. He was indeed a wonderful person, sincere and encouraging; dedicated to his profession. God used him to mold, sustain, and guide me as I attended SUNO Evening Division in my late twenties while going through a separation from my wife and children. I was able to complete my degree and continue on with my life. Just as my heart was healed, Earth has no sorrow that God can not heal. Be encouraged and may you find peace and consulation as I have in the wonderful person Coach Mangeo lived to be.

Manego Family,
I was deeply saddened by the news of Mr. Manego's passing.
We worked together at Drew Elementary School. He was such a nice person and a grandfather figure to the students there. He tried to instill morals and values to the students there. He was very soft spoken and caring. Coach was so easy to approach and talk to, so kind to offer his wisdom and most appreciated advice. His love for his wife, children and grandchildren was always obvious. I will pray for all of you. God has called his faithful servant home.
