Clarence 'Melly Clay' Malveo, Jr. entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the age of 56. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Clarence was a former cook for the DoubleTree, Tiffin Inn Pancake House, and ARAMARK at East Jefferson Hospital. Beloved husband of Denise L. Malveo. Loving father of De'Jae "Til" (Kameska) Smith, Tajuana (Usia) Lyons, Antwaine (Ashley) White, and Letisha (Chadd) White. Son of Thelma L. Malveo and the late Clarence Malveo, Sr. Grandson of the late Sim and Rose Lathers, Alfred, and Emma Malveo. Brother of Alfred (Lisa) Malveo III, Anthony Malveo, Aldoph Grimes, Mary Grimes, Charmaine Malveo, and Amy Malveo (Gerald) Jordan all of Baton Rouge, LA, Patricia Knight of Brusly, LA, Kim Malveo (Curtis) Jones of Upland, CA, and the late Jerome Malveo, Diane Joseph, and Rhonda Elonda. Son-in-law of Lucielle Walton and the late Leon Landry, Sr. Devoted friend of Marvin Anderson, Jr. Clarence is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
