Cleo, I still miss you everyday. Every morning I struggle to make it to work knowing that you won't be there and I can hardly breath. Every time I make it through another work day - it's like climbing Everest. I know you know how hard it's been for me but I'm gonna make you proud. I love you so much more than I ever told you. I needed you so much more than I ever thought I would. I can't be angry at God forever but I'm not making any promises. (smile) There was so much I wanted to tell you that day but I thought "well, I'll see her tomorrow". I'm so sorry we didn't have one more day. I'm glad you hugged me all those times and reminded me what it felt like to be loved by a mom. I'm gonna miss you forever until I see you tomorrow. Eternally honored to have been your "NAIFA baby".

Dear Family: I received notice of Ms. Cleo's passing late on Friday evening. She had been on my mind for the past week. I will always remember her smile and her laugh. We met while I was working at NAIFA in Virginia around 5 years ago. She was so sweet. I will miss talking to her. My prayers go out to the family. She was a "jewel".

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. It is with heavy heart that I write this. Cleo took very good care of me as a little girl in New Orleans and as I grew, I spent many hours with her. I'm sure God needed another kind soul to add to his heavenly host.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Keith and Cleopatra as well as all of us who will miss one of the most caring and thoughtful people that I know. I am a better person for having known and learned from Cleo's kindness and positive energy.

I regret that I can not attend the service honoring her life, but I will pray for her family during this difficult time.

To my nephew Randy and Family:

My condolences and prayers go out to you all during this difficult time. I will not be able to attend the service because of another funeral I will be attending at the same time. Know that you are in my heart. I hope to see you while you are in town.
