Clyde Magee Jefferson

Clyde Magee Jefferson entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2023, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Clyde was a fashion model and played as extras in a few movies. He also was a caregiver and took very good care of his patients. In his later years he worked in construction. Clyde delighted in socializing with his family and friends. He loved to dance and sing and most of all he loved to second line dance when he heard that second line music, there was no stopping him. Clyde leaves to cherish his memory his wife Vetta Price Jefferson, two sons; Clyde Malik Jefferson Johnson of New Orleans, LA, and Carl Nicholas Killeen of Texas, one daughter; Coreen Lewis of New Orleans, LA, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, his loving Aunt Ruby Smith known as "Dear" to everyone and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by his mother Velma Jean Jefferson Lewis and her loving husband Willie J. Lewis (stepfather), and father, Paul Magee. Friends and family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, January 13, 2024, for 1:00 p.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126.
