Corinne Hays Talbert

Corinne Hays Talbert passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the age of 63. Loving mother of Bryan Talbert and wife Tonie, Mason Talbert and wife Michelle. Daughter of the late Martha Davis Hays and Peter Bruin Hays. Sister of Magruder Hays (Madeline), Peter Bruin Hays, Jr. (Jerry) and the late Martha Frances Hays Smith and Elizabeth "Betty" Hays Hazlip. Grandmother of Sean, Patrick and Hays Talbert. Beloved Aunt to Joe Scott and Michael Smith and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She loved and lived for her two sons and her three precious grandsons. She loved just spending time with them, whether it was watching Sean play baseball and Patrick running around the park or just getting to hold her newest grandson, Hays, was pure joy to her. She loved cooking for everyone, especially her family. She even taught cooking classes at the River Walk, where she would tell nonstop stories about her children and grandchildren to all the tourists that took her class. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be missed by many. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 at 2:00 PM with gathering on Saturday beginning at 12:00 noon.
