TO: DIANE, LINDA, JACKIE, AND KIM:
THERE IS NO FAMILY LIKE THE WATSON FAMILY. ALL OF YOU HAVE BEEN A BLESSING IN MY LIFE, ESPECIALLY YOUR FATHER, MR. CURTIS WATSON. HE WAS TRUELY AND MAN OF HONOR AND A MAN THAT LOVED HIS WIFE AND FAMILY. MR. WATSON WAS DADDY TO ALL OF THE WATSON CHILDREN THAT LIVED AT 2408 REYNES STREET. I REMEMBER THE DAYS WHEN HE WOULD SEE ME AND ASK ME, DEEDY ARE YOUR MAMA AND DADDY HOME?, NO MR. WATSON, WELL YOU CHILDREN GO INSIDE. ALRIGHT WOULD BE THE REPLY. MR. WATSON AND MRS WATSON AND ALL OF YOU WERE AND STILL IS MY FAMILY. I LOVE AND MISS ALL OF YOU. I AM PRAYING THAT THE LORD JESUS WILL CONTINUE TO COMFORT YOU AND KEEP YOU ALL IN HIS CARE IN YOUR TIME OF SORROW. REMEMBER THAT MR. WATSON IS IN THE HANDS OF A JUST AND LOVING GOD. TO MY OTHER WATSON FAMILY;
WORDS CAN'T ADEQUATELY EXPRESS HOW I FEEL ABOUT MR. WATSON. HE WAS TRULY A MAN AMONG MEN---A MAN OF HONOR. HE WAS LIKE A SECOND FATHER TO ME. I CAN TRULY SAY I OWE HIM MY LIFE BECAUSE IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR MR. CURTIS HAVING THE STRENGTH AND THE COURAGE TO RESCUE MY MOTHER (PREGNANT WITH ME) AND MY 5 BROTHERS AND SISTERS DURING THE FLOODING OF HURRICANE BETSY ( MY FATHER WAS TRAPPED AT WORK.) THEY WOULD HAVE DROWNED AND I WOULD NOT EXIST. I HAVE NOTHING BUT LOVE, RESPECT AND FOND MEMORIES FOR MR WATSON. HE WILL BE MISSED. I GRIEVE FOR HIM AS I GRIEVE FOR MY SISTER DESIREE. I LOVE Y'ALL AND AM PRAYING GOD'S PEACE, COMFORT AND STRENGTH DURING THIS TIME AND IN THE FUTURE.

Diane and Linda:
The Toussant Family share in your hour of grief, but just know that prayers always change conditions. During the few times I was in your father's company, he was so kind and tender; strong in appearance, spirit and statue. Those are the qualities we all choose to remember, and you, as his children, are to try and exhibit those very same quallities, for I am sure he would expect that at the least. Be strong in the Lord, and just remember - that according to Psalm 24:1 "the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein".

Dear Linda and Diane,
I can truly say I know what you're going through and actually mean it. For you see, both of my parents are gone; and it's not a day that goes by that I don't miss them. But something else, I can truly say, and know for a fact--GOD WILL TAKE CARE. HE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE. HE WILL CONTINUE TO WALK AND TALK WITH YOU, IF YOU CONTINUE TO BE OBEDIENT. I love and miss the both of you, for you were part of my First Thessalonians church family, and you're still my sisters in Christ. You are in my hear, and in my prayers. Take care.

To my sisters Linda and Dianne, I know this is not an easy time for you right now. It is never easy when we loose our parents but time has a way of healing the sorrow one feels in their heart as they long for their love ones. Mr. Curtis was a sweet, loving and kind man that had strong family values and cared a great deal for his family. As time goes on cherish the memories he left behind and the strong family values he instilled in all of you. Mr. Curtis has gone on to take his rest, no more pain, no more suffering, no more labor but now he's in perfect peace. To you my sisters and the rest of the family I say be strong and keep the faith for we shall all see him again in the morning when all the saints are gathered home.
Your sister in Christ,
Loma

To my dear sisters Linda and Dianne. I know what a hard time this must be for both of you right now but time has a way of healing the broken hearted. Mr. Curtis was a sweet and caring man that loved his family. As time goes on just remember the good times shared with him and I am certain they will out weight his sick days. We as christians know that it is not our will but God's will that must be done. I leave with you this passage of scripture from the book of Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
Mr. Curtis is resting from his labor, no more pain for as the scripture has said the former things have passed away. Be strong and be blessed.
Your sister in Christ,
Loma P. Walters
