Danny Holmes Obituary
GREENSBORO Danny Wayne Holmes, 37, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016.A 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, May 2, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel.Danny was born December 31, 1978 in Greensboro, NC, to Charles W. and Rebecca Holmes, Jr. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.He was preceded in death by grandparents, Vincent and Elizabeth Welborn, as well as grandmother, Rosie Overman.In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Summer Holmes. Also surviving are sisters, Tammy (Kevin) Davis and Tonya (Shawn) Moore. In addition, he is survived by grandparents, Charles and Evelyn Holmes, Sr., as well as nieces and nephews, Trisha and Hope Davis, and Christopher, Joshua, Lauren and Megan Moore.
