Daren,I remember when you were a child and sick in the hospital in N.O. I stayed with you and Jessie, your mom, for several days. When Wesley, my son,was small, you, Rickie and Jessie would come stay with him while I worked. Several years ago you came and stayed with me and Buddy for several weeks. I love you and will miss you.

Dad, there are no words to describe the pain I feel. I love you and miss you terribly. You are the reason I love music like I do, the reason I have blonde hair and blue green eyes, the reason I'm sarcastic (lol), and the reason I'm strong. Thank you for loving me and loving my girls the way you did. You will forever be on my mind and the music in my heart. I will take care of Cadie, don't worry and Granny too. Your legacy will live on through Courtney as she looks just like you. Everytime I look at her, I see you. I love you dad, forever and always, your oldest girl.

Dad...its still a bad dream to me...i dont want to accept that you are not here. You were supposed to get better and teach ur grandson how to play guitar, build him a racing go kart. I can even explain the sadness in my heart right now!! I didnt get to tell you bye. I dont know how to go on without you. But i have to let go and find peace knowing that you are free in heaven...playing music and singing. Please look over me and my babies. I love you more than you will even know, from your baby girl.
