Darlene "Toni" Vicknair

Darlene Vicknair Obituary

VICKNAIR Darlene" Toni" Vicknair, left us on January 30, 2013 to walk with our Heavenly Father. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Sun, LA. for the past 13 years. . Darlene is the loving wife of the late Dudley J Vicknair Sr., Daughter of the late Eddie Robertson and Marie Fournier, and sister to the late Jeianine Robertson McKinney. Darlene is survived by her Daughter Angela Marie Farlouis, her sisters Sharon Wilson and Brenda Caruso. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Darlene worked as a CNA for the past 32 years. Her last few years were spent at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington, LA. Darlene will be missed by many. Private services were held. Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in charge of Arrangements. I met Darlene when my Mom was at Forest Manor. I'm at a lost for words because she and I became friends after my Mom passed and I started visiting another resident. When she put her residents down for the night, she would come into the activity room and sit and talk with us. She was wonderful to her patients and those in her care were lucky. She will be missed.
