David Boyd Obituary

BOYD David Cooper Boyd, age 63, died at New Orleans, LA on Thursday, January 14, 2010. Beloved son of the late Jane Hammond Boyd and Augustus Theodore Waldsachs, Jr. Father of Elizabeth Bowen Waldsachs Cristadoro of San Antonio, TX and William Howard Waldsachs of Paducah, KY. Brother of A. T. Waldsachs III of Cambridge, MD, Jane Hammond Matthews of Lutherville, MD, Mary Hanna Clodfelter of Jupiter, FL and the late Suzan Taylor Dean. Grandfather of Matthew Dugi, Louisa and Annalisa Cristadoro. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Boyd, a retired U. S. Air Force veteran, retired as Support Services Director for Kindred Hospital, New Orleans. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of THARP-SONTHEIMER-THARP, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. at 43rd St., Metairie. Visitation on Monday from 3:00 PM until service time. Additional services and interment at St. David Episcopal Church, San Antonio, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lord's of Leather Hurricane Relief Fund, P. O. Box 741089, New Orleans, LA 70174 or your favorite charity. Information: (504) 835-2341
