Dave was a truly good guy. He was a great dad, husband, friend a real mensch. He was fun, caring , full of life and interested in everyone. I particularly remember him as a Scout leader with his Pied Piper like enthusiasm. He will be greatly missed. He made the world a better place.

Dave was a person who loved life and loved to live it. Dave was not only my work partner but also a very special friend. He should never have worn a shirt, I know none who constantly gave the shirt off his back to help others more than he did. Fantasy football will never be the same. Love to you Dave. Will forever miss you.

We loved spending time with David over the years on his many trips to the Washington DC area for family visits and celebrations . Most recently we had a great time enjoying his company at our table during our niece ,Emily’s ,wedding last November. David was such a character! Funny... sweet... quirky...and what a heart of gold! He was a devoted Dad and wonderful husband to Julie. Our condolences to everyone in the family. The obituary is spot on... love the idea of wearing something colorful at the funeral! He wouldn’t want it any other way.

I think I can say for all the Meetup bridge players that we greatly enjoyed playing with Dave and were very blessed that he managed this group for us. Thank you, Dave! Rest in peace.

David’s wife, Julie, was my beloved friend. I had the opportunity to meet David early in their relationship during a visit to New Orleans. From that first meeting it was obvious to see what Julie saw in him. He was kind, loving, fun, easy to be with & concerned about the wellbeing of other humans. David’s most important legacy are three sons who were his world. David was a gentle man and we are all better people for having crossed his path. Sending condolences to his family and friends.

I met Dave about 6 years ago- words that come to mind when I think of Dave- laughter- positive- friendly- gregarious...a mountain of a man. The energy from Dave was just tremendous- he will be missed greatly. My deepest sympathies to the family.
