David Lamia Obituary

David Matthew Lamia passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Andry Lamia. Father of Jonathan David and Joseph Matthew Lamia. Son of David L. Lamia and the late Clarice Campbell Lamia. Son in law of Joan Silver Andry and Arthur J. Andry. Brother in law of Rachel Andry and Bethany A. Lescale (James). Uncle and Godfather of Leonora ""Ellie"" Andry and Barret Arthur Lescale. Age 44 years and a lifelong resident of the Westbank. He worked for Valero St. Charles Refinery, and proudly served for over 20 years as a Volunteer Fireman with Terrytown and Marrero Estelle Fire Departments. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #15390. He was passionate about his time spent as a volunteer fireman and was an avid Nascar fan. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 10 AM until 1 PM. The Funeral Mass will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marrero, LA at 1:30 PM.
