David Joseph St. Romain

David Joseph St. Romain, born in Evergreen, LA, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019, at the age of 77. Son of the late Alexander and Della St. Romain. David retired from the Times Picayune and lived most years in Kenner before settling in Covington, LA in 2011. David leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Jerilynn Vandrell St. Romain. Father to Michelle Williams (late Oscar Williams), Beth Ann St. Romain, Derek St. Romain (Tiphani) and the late David St. Romain Jr. Grandfather to Amanda, Ryan, Scott (Dreama) Calli St. Romain, Nicholas (Yira) Galliano, Shaun Burke, Nicole Galliano, Stacey Wagner (Justin), Corey Cox, Chad Cox (Victoria), Seth, Cameron, Ethan, Charleigh, Annalise, Tripp, Millicent St. Romain and nine great grandchildren who he loved dearly. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Passages Hospice, especially Joe and Monique for all their support. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington. Visitation begins at 1:00pm with the service starting at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Passages Hospice or the American Heart Association.
