Debra Martin Obituary
Debra was born September 10, 1955, in Long Beach, California, and moved to Napa, California at a young age. She attended Napa High School, and later went on to nursing school and obtained her LVN certification. Throughout her life, she was fortunate enough to reside in various picturesque locations throughout the state of California: from Huntington Beach, to the mountains of the Placerville area with her mother, to the beaches of Santa Barbara with two of her sons, to the scenic Napa Valley.
Debra worked as a licensed healthcare professional in assisted living facilities for many years, which brought her great joy and fulfillment. Nursing was one of her greatest passions, and she loved caring for the elderly community. But by far and without question, her greatest accomplishment was the raising of her four children: John, Ashley, Jeremiah, and Cameron. They were the light of her life.
Debra was known for her honesty, loyalty, wisdom, and devotion to her family and God. She was an avid bible reader, but she also reveled in the guilty pleasure of binging her favorite reality tv shows on Bravo. She had an insatiable sweet tooth, an infectious smile, a caring nature and gentle demeanor, and an incredibly big heart. She was loved, and she will be deeply missed.
Debra is survived by her four sons: John Murphy, Ashley Murphy, Jeremiah Martin, and Cameron Martin; two grandsons Nick and Keegan Murphy; two grand furbabies Dallas and Bubbles Murphy; and her sister, Lavon Cooper.
Debra was predeceased by her parents, Charles (Chuck) Tifverman and Betty Larson; and her brother Charlie Tifverman.
Friends and acquaintances are cordially invited to join the memorial service at Hillside Christian Church in Napa on Saturday, November 16th at 11:00 am.
