"Life continues to be a great mystery and adventure. Courage has paid off for me in the past so we'll see if I can make it work for me here in my old age--courage and the total belief in the magic of the universe.
It's good to see you so full of ideas... It will be interesting to see where you set your sights and what dreams you decide to chase down once you're free to set out into the world. Given the world situation, I expect some great things from your generation. Circumstances are bound to carry you into some amazing things."

The 10 pictures you see are from Dennis' celebration of life. It was at The Old Point Bar on Algiers' Point in New Orleans on Patterson Street, the street in New Orleans that Dennis loved.
I did not provide many names of people in the pictures because I don't trust myself in getting them correct. (At least the ones I knew.) (Betty, sorry if I mispelled your name.)
I did not get the name of the bag piper. He came in and made everyone cry with his music, after having introduced himself by initially playing a piece on the leeve. The Pfister Sisters played the music Dennis loved to hear. When they began to sing "In 1814 I took a little trip...," those present could feel the energy level rise. (Personally, I was looking around for Dennis. He had to have been there to hear one of his all time favorite songs.)
As Barry, visited with everyone, telling them about how everything continues to fall into place, (speaking about all the "magic"), The Perfect Party was taking place, for Dennis and because of Dennis.
I know that I can say that we all wish he had been there
-with his fuzzy little beard,
-winning smile
-and his red, worn, and faded baseball cap.
THEN, and only then, would the Perfect Party have been even better.
