Diane Bailey

Diane Bailey entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the age of 67. She was a native of Utica, MS and resident on Marrero, LA. Diane was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School and was employed as a nurse. Beloved mother of Chianti Bailey and Jotina Bailey. Daughter of the late Walter Frazier and Leola Bailey. Granddaughter of the late Beatrice Bowman, and John Henry. Sister of Walter, Frank, Vincent, Kim, and Linda Bailey, Marcella Williams, Mary Phillips, Ida Bowman, and the late Ora L. Bailey, Geraldine Byrd, Sandra Jones, and Hattie Bailey. Diane is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Heavenly Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1020 Cohen Street, Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Aubrey Wallace, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
