March 1, 1940 - April 1, 2015 SEMINOLE Diana June Thomas, age 75, of Seminole, passed away April 1, 2015. She was born March 1, 1940, in Mangum, OK, to Thermun Vernon and Lola (Brannon) Thompson. Diana married Carroll "Bud" Thomas on March 26, 1965, in Oklahoma City. She attended Fairview Baptist Church in Earlsboro. Diana enjoyed "Women's Game Day," and she participated in the "Red Hat Society." Diana also enjoyed painting, family game time, mystery trips and going on road trips with friends. Her first love was time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Diana is survived by her husband of 50 years, Carroll "Bud" Thomas, of Seminole, OK; 2 sons, Don Soard & wife, Shelley, of Edmond, OK and Todd Soard & wife, Catherine, of Seminole, OK; 1 daughter, Shelly Whitley & husband, Nathan, of Blanchard, OK; 7 grandchildren, Somer Boydston & husband, Ryan, of Joplin, MO, Taylor Soard, of Joplin, MO, Tanner Soard, of Edmond, OK, Erin Soard & husband, Tim Pivonka, of Ault, CO, Samantha Soard, of Seminole, OK, Dana Whitley, of Joplin, MO and Katie Whitley, of Blanchard, OK; 3 great-grandchildren, Karter Soard, of Seminole, OK, Kailyn Howell, of Seminole, OK and Madison Pivonka, of Ault, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thermun & Lola Thompson. Funeral Services for Diana will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Lynlee Mae Chapel, 507 E. Main Street, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
