Wow. We just found out and I still can't believe it. I remember Dionne was always so upbeat, she was always flashing that beautiful smile of hers. To her family, may God's love and comfort surround you, remember she was in the Lord and is with our King.

Dionne,
You will be missed cuz. I will never forget those sandals you bought me for my 8th Grade Graduation. They were one of a kind - like you :). Kiss Mama Carrie for me.
Love Always, Sharon

Dionne, my friend, my sister. We met about 15 years ago, working for LeSea Broadcasting, Since that time, we have remained sisterfriends. At every turn since we met, you have been nearby. Your sweet, sweet optimism and laughter are the things that I will miss the most. Thank you for allowing me to spend the last months sharing with you. I thank God for your many accomplishments and how your dreams (that we often talked about) came true. I have no doubt that I will see you again. Although I will miss you, I rejoice knowing that you are with the Father. I will complete "The Open Window" just for you! I love you, Girl!

To Sis. Gracie Powe and the entire Powe family, we are praying God's strength for you for the days ahead. May you hold tight the many fond memories of Dionne. The pain you feel today will subside with prayers and time, but until then know that the Lord and many many friends are here for you.

Wow this in Unreal Dionne was recently in Texsas last year we had dinner together she and her Husband happy full of life promoting her new book, Dionne and I was good freinds for well over 25yrs I will miss her dearly at first I cried my eyes out when i heard she passed, Now I am Happy she is with he King and she is so happy . Dionne was a brilliant smart intelligent humble kind hearted person. She never had a ill word to say about no one. My Girl , always helping to help another walk into their destiny and purpose. She loved her church Family and her pastor she took passion in helping everyone. Dionne loved her sister mother and the entire Family good people she was very close to her dad she affectionatly talked about him always . She was so excited about her sister new babies that God granted her to see before she left and her new husband Keith brought her Joy. The purpose and the plan for Dionne life have been fullifiled and we must rejoice our flesh cires but our spirit shout Praise God she is with the king Amen .
