Dixie Banks Obituary

BANKS Mrs. Dixie Ann "Pie Lady" Banks was born November 23, 1930 in Vildalia, LA to the late Tommie and Beatrice Williams. She departed Monday, July 09, 2012. She was married to the late Rev. Leon Banks, Sr. and leaves to cherish her memories her six children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, sisters and a host of other family and friends. The services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Israelite Baptist Church at 2100 MLK Blvd. where Rev. Emmanuel Smith, Jr. will be the officant. Visitation: 9:00 a.m. Interment in Restlawn Mem. Park in Avondale, LA. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Professional Services entrusted to MAJESTIC MORTUARY, INC., (504) 423-5872.
