CAMARDELLE Dolores "Cailou" Terrebonne Camardelle Passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012 Born: May 3, 1924 She was the Daughter of the late Harris A. "Iris" Terrebonne and Ozelia Aguilar Terrebonne. Wife of the late Livingston J."Lim" Camardelle for 60 Years. Mother of Rodney J. Camardelle (Margie Lehnig) and Russell J. "Little Moose" Camardelle (Valerie Betcke). Grandmother of Glen (Kathy Davis) Camardelle, Monica C. Reynen (Micheal), Paul (fiancee Kelly Ludwig) Camardelle, Russell, Jr. (Jennifer Hunter) Camardelle, Nancy C. LeBlanc (Wayne). Great grandmother of Kirsten C. Snapp (Andy), Glen Jr. and Isabella Camardelle, Coty Reynen, Sidney Rose Reynen, Dylan, Dre , Collin, and Zoe Camardelle, Eric and Kyle Camardelle and great-great grandmother of Piper Grace Snapp. Step Grandchildren to, Kim Miller (Jared), Justin Reilly (Caress Tandoc), Jessica Boykin (Paul), Tillie Reilly, Angela Authement (Chad), and Jennifer Chiasson, (Josh), Step Great grand children, Alexandria, Shelby and Alyssa Authement, Joseph Chiasson and 5 step great-great grandchildren. Sister of the late Morris Terrebonne husband of Dorothy Hargis (the late Lena Dufrene Terrebonne), Ruth Sanderson (the late James) and Larry Terrebonne (the late Miriam Case). She was the Godmother of Dolores T. Parker (John) and Iris Rome Crocket (Bobby), the former mother-in-law of Shira Allan Camardelle and special friend and cousin to Betty T. Adams, and close friend to Laura Plaisance Bailey. Dolores retired from the Jefferson Parish School System's Food Service Department having maintained her work as the Manager of Westwego High, Worley Middle, Higgins High, Lincoln Middle, Estelle Elementary and completing her years at John Ehret High School after 38 years of service with the System. A lifelong resident of Westwego until entrance into Wynhoven Health Center in 2011, she was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and a long time member of "The National and Jefferson Parish Food Service Associations." A sincere thank you from the family is extended to the staff at Wynhoven Health Care Center and to Notre Dame Hospices for their great care during her stay. Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero on, Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Viewing will begin 9:00 a.m. until Mass time at 1:30 p.m. Interment follows the Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
