Ms. Sharpe was my 8th grade teacher at St. Cletus Elementary decades upon decades ago. She was so smart, challenging, and a wonderful and amazing teacher. I was thinking about all the people who really helped me in my formative years and she was one. I was saddened to learn of her passing. I hope her family is well. I hope to add to their knowledge that Ms. Sharpen was a really good person who shaped little lives for the better.

Dear Sharpe Family,
My deepest sympathy for your lost. Donna was a great inspiration to me. I am glad God saw it fit that our ships met. I will miss her email prayers she always sent to me. Always in my prayers.

tam,ryan,matthew,jennifer, my thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you. i have such fond memories when we were children and uncle walter and aunt mary would come to visit us. Donna Marcia Louis and the myself rachel and david and many a great vacations with her in baltimore, washington, seattle new york. she was a great person and will be missed. I have a great photo of all of us kids standing in what i believe is the shanadoha river with our pants rolled up and right smack dab in the middle is uncle walter. when i come to neworleans next i will bring copies for you guys. again my deepest sympathy gretchen (juka) ryan

My sincerest condolensces to the Sharpe family. I had the privilege of knowing Donna both as a student at St. Anthony and as a parent at St. Cletus School. She was a dedicated and loving educator & mentor for many! She worked endlessly on SACS accreditation for St. Cletus in which I had the honor to work with her. She has certainly left many lasting accomplishments for students to benefit from now even after her retirement and move to to Alabama. Heaven has certainly been graced with a beautiful angel! My family & I pray for peace, comfort, & strength for

Tam and family, There are no words to say how sorry I am. Donna is now in heaven with God and the angels. She was a wonderful cousin and friend.It is so hard on all the family and love ones that is left behind. The thing to remeber is that Donna is in a better place now. She will be sadly missed by all. Donna lived her life for family and friends she was always there if someone needed her. All of you will be in my prayers. I was shocked to learn of Donna's death. IDonner was in my first Kindergarten Class at St. Rosalie School. I have kept in touch with her until she moved to Alabama. My prayers with the family and for the repose of her soul. God be with you at this difficult time. "Miss" Ruby

Donna Sharpe was a fantastic teacher and colleague! I had the opportunity of working with her at St. Cletus School for five (5) years. She had such a calming and nurturing spirit about her. My grandmother Claudia LaBauve babysat Donna's children when they were little. I remember going with her sometimes to your home and helping her out. She also taught my daughter's Baylee & Connor Riggs at St. Cletus. I phoned my grandmother this morning to let her know of her passing. She sends her condolences as do the Riggs family.

I not only had Donna as my eigth grade teacher, I then had the pleasure of working with her at St. Cletus for five years. She was not only a wonderful mother, educator, but also friend. She will be greatly missed and heaven has just been granted a terrific angel!

I first met Donna when I was a senior at Archbishop Blenk. She was my homeroom teacher that year, and I'm pretty sure we gave her a hard time as a new teacher. She straightened us out in her quiet and soft, but firm, ways. Many years later, she was the middle school English and Religion teacher for three of my four children at St. Cletus. Her smile, and gentle but firm ways were still part of her teaching style. We missed her when you all moved to Alabama. We will miss her that much more as she moves into the loving, open arms of our Heavenly Father. May you find comfort in knowing how many lives she touched in her gentle, kind ways.
