Dora Stringer Obituary

STRINGER Dora "Fran" Stringer, age 79, a resident of Avondale, LA passed away peacefully on September 1, 2008 at 7AM after evacuating for Hurricane Gustav. Beloved wife of the late Rufus Stringer. Beloved mother of Randy Stringer, Debby Stringer and Diane James. Grandmother of Chad and Jason James, Raquel Nicholas and Jessica Stringer. Great grandma "Granny" to Trystan James. Also survived by, son-in-law Reece James and daughter-in-law Alina Stringer and future daughter-in-law Ashley Tucker. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Rufus, in Bay Springs, MS. Relatives and friends of the family, also Members of the Masonic Lodge Galileo Mazzini #368 F&AM, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Bridge City Senior Citizens, Avondale Baptist Church, Avondale Subway Restaurant are invited to attend a Graveside Service in Providence Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Bay Springs, MS on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 11AM. Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA, on September 9, 2008 from 6PM to 9PM. Information: 504-366-4343.
