Son of the late Aimee and Gus Fitzgerald Jr. Brother of the late Audrey Fitzgerald Smith, and Gary Fitzgerald. Former husband of Judy Hadley Barrois, mother of his children. Grandfather of Walter J. Heathcock, Jake Hebert, Erica Landry, Cole Hebert, Kurt Fitzgerald, Adam J. Adams, and Kalee Cooper. Great grandfather of Irelyn Heathcock, Cohen Landry, Laiken Landry, and Raegan Hebert. Godfather of Patrick Fitzgerald. Uncle of Suzette Adams, Sandy Rush, and the late Michael Smith. He was a native of Plaquemine, LA and a lifelong resident of Boothville, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 7pm.
