John, Michael and Melanie:I heard about your mother's passing. I am so very sorry for the pain of losing such a wonderful mother. She loved you all so very much. I worked with her for a short time, and in that short time, Mrs. Earlene proved to be a light in my life. I know she is in a better place and is being her perky, sassy self. My prayers are with you all.

We are sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful, funny woman. We loved hearing all her stories and boy could she tell them. Just know that her world was the 3 of you morning, noon and night. We will cherish our many happy memories of your mom while we all lived on Corinne and the cruises Hank & I shared with her. I was so sad to here that your wonderful mother has passed away. Growing up next door to your family allowed me to see what a devoted and loving mother she was to you. She was a delightful person that my family grew to love and admire. She was always upbeat and strong in her faith despite whatever unpleasant circumstances arose. Our condolences to Johnny, Michael and Melanie.
This is shocking news. Earline was our next door neighbor in Chalmette for many years. She was warm, friendly, and funny, and we really enjoyed having her as a neighbor. We were disappointed when she moved. We talked with her once after Katrina, but never got to see her.

Johnny, Michael and Melanie...your mom was a wonderful friend and caring mom. She always thought of you first and from pre-school thru college did all she could to give you a straight path. You have great memories of all the activities you did together, the traveling,the conversations and the deep love she shared with each of you.
