I wish I knew where and how to begin. Only the fact that I loved you mom with all my heart and all my soul. The things you did for me, well for all of us cannot be counted or measured in any way. From making our Mardi Gras costumes to making us the wonderful people we are today, this comes from you. I can see your love, dads love and the love from Sadie and Phanor flowing in the veins of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The wonderful mixture of Zimmer and Chaix that is in me makes me the person I am today. I was a teacher's aide for 27 years working with the learning disabled children and it was only from the teachings and love I received from you and dad that provided me with the "want" and the "love" to do it. I may not have always looked like I was listening or learning from you mom, but I was and I thank you for that. I love you mom, and I will love you for always, forever and a day......You left behind a wonderful legacy that will continue, this I promise..........

To the family of Ms Earline although I've only known Ms Earline for only a short period of time it was my great pleasure of taking care of her. She was a beautiful lady and Ms Sandra when ever you feel your self painfully missing her just look in the mirror because you look just like her beautiful.(tear). My fondest memory of her was when I brought her to the dining room to play Bingo . she was so happy. And when she finally won and said Bingo!! I couldn't believe how excited she was when they brought her the winning of 75cents her smile was priceless.

Maw maw...going to miss you. Think about you all the time when I reach into the big red basket of candy. You brought that basket to Hayden nine years ago filled with treats and sweets and that is what we keep in it today. Rest in peace, you deserve it for all you have done.

Mama,,, aka, Bag Lady... I remember a time we went shopping at that discount store of dented cans and etc... you stopped and picked up a penny and made a comment about not walking by a penny but to pick it up and save it. Well, I still do that. Trying to teach my kids that. Love you and miss you. Mark Caldwell..former owner of Green Monte Carlo

To my darling Mother and Best friend,
I will treasure all of my times with you. You were always my rock, my support. You taught me humility, you taught me love=especially love for others. You and Daddy Blessed me by just bringing me into this world. I know that you are both together again, along with the rest of our "gang." Rest in Peace Mother. I am proud of my heritage, my upbringing that you gave me. You sacrificed much for me to become a nurse. I am returning that sacrifice now in caring for all of the friends, family you left behind at Raceland Manor=they will truly miss you as I will. But I am the fortunate one=I got to have you to myself for all of my 67 years=and I thank you for that. Until I join you again, I love you dearly. Your daughter, Sandra
