Dear Andy,
Janet called this morning to tell me about Edgar. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I hope you all are doing ok.
I guess we have have not communicated much since our folks have gone. Mom died two years ago, Dad in 1998.
I tried to find your house by the lake area last week when we were in New Orleans visiting our daughter. I could not believe the destruction. We did find Aunt Bernie's house.
I looked you up on the internet when I was in LA to help my aunt and cousins in Slidell in Sept. I found your name in Slidell, but I did not get a phone number, this was right after the storm. Nothing was working right.
Please write me a quick note about you and Edgar and your families. Is there any thing we can do? Do you have a charity for donations in Edgar's memory. Could we do something to help Edgar's son with anything.
My deepest sympathy.
Your Cousin,
Claire
