Edward Crane Obituary

Edward Carroll Crane entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Thomas Ann Covell Crane. Father of Susan Roberts (Charlie), Thomas Crane (Patsy), Lisa Legrand (Jacques), and Mary Stewart (Rob). Grandfather of Jennifer Blake (Darryl), Jacques Philippe Legrand (Emily), Andre Legrand (Jamie), and Danielle Corso (Greg). Great-grandfather of Devlin, Ethan, Blaine, Ann Reilly, Ellen, Blakely, Blair, Brennan, and Chloe. Son of the late Carroll Crane and Gertrude Adams Crane. Age 95 years and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Edward was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a Veteran of the Air National Guard and the United States Air Force. He spent his career as an electrician and was a longtime employee of Kaiser Aluminum Chalmette Works. Edward was a member of the Krewe of Alla and was a proud LSU football and baseball fan. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Algiers, LA on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 10 AM until Funeral Mass time at 12 Noon.
