Edward John Dillenkoffer Jr.

Edward John Dillenkoffer, Jr., passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the age of 90. He was the son of the late Edward John Dillenkoffer, Sr. and Eugenie Roux Dillenkoffer; loving husband of the late Lucille Duquesnay Dillenkoffer; father of the late Michael G. Dillenkoffer and David D. Dillenkoffer; father-in-law of Karin Dermody; brother of the late William Francis Dillenkoffer (Claire) and Betty Huet Dillenkoffer; grandfather of Alexander E. Dillenkoffer (Lauren) and Joey R. Dardar (Kari); great-grandfather of Autumn Dillenkoffer, David Dardar, Gavin Dardar and Luke Dardar, and uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Edward graduated from St. Aloysius High School and Delgado Trade School. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy during 1951-1955. He retired from Chevron after 30 years of service in August 1990. He enjoyed fishing, going to casinos, and watching Saints football. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:30AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
