RIPOLL Edward ""Bud Rip'' Conrad Ripoll, Jr., on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 10:03 pm. Beloved husband of the late Adeline Delorette Ripoll. Loving father of Bonnie Ripoll Falgout, and the late Deborah Joy Ripoll. Grandfather of Captain Wallace P. Falgout, Captain Brian J. Falgout, and Dawn Falgout Loebig. Great-grandfather of Brittany Joy, Devin Joseph, Brice Paul, Brielle Ann, Brina Marie, and Andrew Leonce Falgout. Son of the late Edward C. Ripoll, Sr., and Mary Foster Ripoll. Brother of Lubelle Prevost, Rodney Ripoll, Audrey Springer, and Sally Wineski. Father-in-law of Captain Leslie P. Falgout. He was the former owner of ""Bud Rip's'' bar in New Orleans. He was in 1984-1988 the State Representative for District 103, a member of the American Legion, a Charter member of the Downtown Irish Marching Club, and a U.S. Marine. He was the founder of Bud Rip's Golf Tournament for the survivors of the New Orleans Police Department, and sponsored annual Christmas baskets for needy families in the Ninth Ward. Age 82 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of St. Bernard for the past 22 years until Katrina. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Memorial Service will be held at Lamana-Panno-Fallo, 1717 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, La. on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 12:00 noon. Friends may visit on Monday after 10:00 am. Interment in St. Vincent de Paul No. 3 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, preferred.
