Edward Surcouf Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Henry Surcouf (age 65) announce his peaceful passing on Friday, July 20, 2018. Known to many as "the Hook," he was a native of New Orleans, LA, and was preceded in death by his father, Warren M. Surcouf Sr., and mother, Jacqueline E. Surcouf. Eddie will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Charlette Taliancich, and her mother, Paula Penouilh; his sister, JoAnn (Dennis) Caron; and brother, Warren M. (Andree) Surcouf Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Ave., Metairie, LA 70002.

To the Surcouf Family, So sorry for your loss. I remember Eddie growing up. He was the same age as my brother. I also remember that we all stayed in the Surcouf house during hurricane Betsy. He will be greatly missed. Know you now have another special angel in heaven
