Elaine Buquet

Elaine Buquet, 79, a resident of Mandeville, LA, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Elaine is survived by her nephews, Craig Legendre and Kevin Legendre; nieces, Christine Legendre Fabre (Jeff) and Jennifer Legendre; brother-in-law, Leroy Legendre; great-nephews, Zachary Legendre (Amy) and Ethan Fabre; and great-grand niece, Jolie Ruth Legendre. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Murphy Buquet and Beulah Dupre Buquet; and sister, Ruth Buquet Legendre. Elaine spent her professional career in the insurance industry, where her hard work, dedication, and commitment were an inspiration to her colleagues and earned her respect in the industry. Elaine will forever be remembered for her compassion, love, and generosity. In her free time, Elaine enjoyed engaging in various types of needlework, playing the piano and the accordion. She leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her warm heart and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many.
