Eldora Doster Obituary
Mrs. Doster, 66, died 4021 Broadview Dr, died Tuesday, September 20, 2005.
Funeral is Saturday, 2:00 PM at Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. Visitation is Saturday, 1:00-2:00 PM at the church. Burial will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Doster was born in Mecklenburg County. She attended Second Ward High School and was a member of Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church. She was a nurse's aide with Cypress Nursing.
Survivors include her husband Harold Doster; sons: Michael McDowell (Deborah), of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Janet Taylor (Robert) of Charlotte and Sherry McDowell Ivey (Edward) of Charlotte; brothers, Ed Thompson of Charlotte, Alexander Thompson (Carolyn) of Charlotte, Freddie Thompson of Charlotte, Gary Thompson (Bonnie) of Charlotte; sister, Minnie Thompson of Charlotte; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Family of Eldora, I know that God is now circling each of you with his love, peace and joy. You mother is now in a place where she will fell no more pain or discomfort. She is reunion with her the ones that have gone before her. So let continue to prepare ourselves so that we can be with her with the Lord decide that our time here on earth is no more. So continue to let your life show forth with the love that she have left with you. Take over helping other where she left off. My prayer is that God will continue to open his arms to you when you ask Him into your life.

Eldora will be missed. she was one of the sweetest and loving person that i have ever known.
no matter what has happen in her life, she has always managed to be kind and generous to everyone. she will definitely be missed. my heart goes out to the family especially Minnie, because now she is the last sister in the family. Love you Minnie. sorry i can't be there for you at this time, but i will see you sooon.
