Elliott Joseph "E.J." Raley IV

Elliott Joseph "E.J." Raley, IV, a native and resident of Terrytown, LA, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014. He will be sadly missed by his parents, E.J. and Jan Raley, his loving mother Dina Michele Solaski and his step father John Matthew Solaski; his grandparents Carlie Rae Raley, Melvin and Alecia Quitt, Pete and Carol Barlow; his siblings, Erica Jones, Josh Raley, Micah Solaski (Kristin), Matthew Solaski and Patrick Solaski; and his devoted companion, Signe St. Pierre. E.J. will also be greatly missed by his special godson, Kaleb Raley; his nephews Remington Raley, Cason Jones and Rowen Solaski. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, E.J. Raley, Jr. and his nephew, Raley Jones. E.J. attended Christ the King School, Brother Martin High School and LSU. He loved spending time with his family and friends who were the most important things in his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father and brother, playing fantasy football and being a huge Saints fan. He had a very special bond with his sister Erica that will never be forgotten. E.J. was a very loving person, loyal friend and had a witty sense of humor that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 10 AM until 1 PM. The Funeral Mass will follow at 1 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Autism Speaks Foundation, www.autismspeaks.org.
