Elmer Ray "Fuzz" Clifton

CLIFTON, ELMER RAY "FUZZ" - age 75, of South Knoxville, passed away February 27, 2009 at Hillcrest South Nursing Home. He was a member of Seven Islands Baptist Church and retired from Knoxville Mack. Elmer was a loving husband, daddy and papaw. He was preceded in death by: parents, Ralph and Herma Henderson; brother, Bill Henderson and granddaughter, Tonia Johnson. Survivors include: wife of 54 years, Laura Hatcher Clifton; sons and daughters-in-law: Danny and Janice Clifton, Dusty and Vickie Clifton; daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and Benny Johnson, Robin Clifton and Gene Bohanan, and Angie and Roger Seagle; brother and sister-in-law: Charlie and Kathleen Henderson; sister-in-law, Donna Henderson; grandchildren: Suzi Ellison, Jacob and Brandon Clifton, Heather and Dustin Clifton, Michael and wife Jennifer and Jason Gray, and Logan Seagle; great grandchildren, Preston and Peyton Ellison; and special friends, Harlan and Jewel Massey. The family would like to thank the staff of Hillcrest South and Caris Hospice for their care and compassion. Family and friends will meet on Monday at 12:00 PM at Seven Islands Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Troy Cody officiating.
