God speed Manny,

I never met a single person who had anything but respect, praise , and admiration for one of the longest serving members of the staff at Touro Hospital.

You made a real difference in the tens of thousands of colleagues, students, staff, and patients who benefited from your knowledge. We all learned from you through example how to be a gentleman and how to be honorable in the practice of medicine.

Thank you for being a mentor, thank you for giving a young doctor advice over our Friday bowl of gumbo in the doctor's lounge, and thank you for being a mentor to me.
