Erjie, my sorrows and prayers goes out to your family. I am sure that your old buddies: Mr. Nolan, Cliff, XJ, Claiborne, Charlton, Dodo, RL, and Mr. George Leblanc and others that I may have forgot their names. I am sure that they are all waiting for you at the Lake Fields Round Table to share, cook and talk about the past. Although I have not seen you in several decades I have often talked about our younger years of our garden on the side of your restaurant with my brother and CJ. Again, I am deepened sorrowed and also feel a lost, my sincere sorrow goes out to your family………………. WPH

It appears that the family has very fond memories of Mr. Erjie, I concur. Mr. Erjie was an excellent boss and trained me well, starting as a dishwasher to a cook. This job took me through my high school years. He was the chef of steaks and just as those steaks were, he was the FINEST.
