Eula Madeline Dufresne Glorioso

1912 - 2017

A good and faithful servant, Eula Madeline Dufresne Glorioso went home to God on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Chateau de Notre Dame in New Orleans, LA. She was born on December 20, 1912 in Wallace, LA. Eula was a woman of deep faith and a devout Roman Catholic. She loved cooking, traveling, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands: Camille Pierre Berthelot; and Samuel "Sam" Glorioso, to whom she was married for 40 years; her parents Madeline Lucille Roussel and Joseph Anicet Dufresne, her sisters; Mariei Aurelie Dufresne Reynaud, Therese Cecile Dufresne, Alba Marie Dufresne Bossier, Jeanne Laurence Dufresne Arceneaux, Odiel Mabel Dufresne Zeringue; and brother Joseph George Dufresne. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who always enjoyed Aunt Eula's delicious oyster dressing and artichoke casserole at holiday gatherings. Eula was a highly respected bookkeeper at Verges Architectural Firm in New Orleans for many years. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:00am at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be her great-nephews.
